As the Sports Marketing Manager, you will manage #TeamUp partnerships and sport events. The sports marketing manager will work alongside managed service providers (MSP) to supervise and help them activate their sports marketing rights. To be successful at this role it will require an experienced sports marketer who understands the sports partnerships role from all 3 of these perspective’s (rights holder, brand and agency) and is able to draw on that expertise depending on the situation. Also, will be responsible for suite nights. Experience in the IT/Tech landscape is a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop working relationships with #TeamUp MSPs and Sports Teams under persons control
Work with MSPs to develop a marketing plan in line with stakeholders
Advise and help MSP’s negotiate and plan the use of rights to deliver on set marketing objectives
Ongoing calls with Sports Teams and #TeamUP MSPs
Content Approvals with sports team
Advise and train #TeamUP MSP on how to use sports marketing rights
Be embedded in the NAM region– joining, contributing and reporting on all regional meetings matters related to sports
Be completely involved in the region – work day to day with all RMM’s and head of region to ensure all #TeamUp MSPs are working towards what we want them to do in region
Manage the Acronis suite nights mini-events
Manage all aspects including staffing needs, logistics, paperwork, shipping, financial processing, budget
Ensures compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations, ensure proper messaging and details for a successful event
Owns and manages pre, during and post event strategy plan in alignment with stakeholders and provide reporting of events and results
Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
3+ years of experience in sports marketing – brand / agency / rights holder (more than 1 preferable)
Experience and understanding of sports marketing IP and how it can be used by sports partners
Experience and understanding of modern cybersecurity landscape and service provider business
Ability to work as part of a global team
Experience of working on / running events
Process driven
Proven track record working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience working with PR / media
Experience working with or in IT / Tech preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to solve problems both logically and creatively
Ability to adapt to different cultures
Efficient time management
Strong attention to detail
Fluent English (other languages is a plus)
