The Associate Marketing Manager, Gaming sits at the intersection of digital/social, sports marketing, and gaming culture. Focused on the execution of digital activations, this role reports to the Global Digital Marketing Manager, and actively partners with Global Marketing, Regional Marketing and Sports Marketing to shape how New Balance shows up in gaming and esports. A role with equal parts strategy, creative thinking, and operations, led by someone with a passion for esports and the experience to evaluate long and short-term opportunities for New Balance to consider, test and scale.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES:
Shape and drive New Balance’s gaming and esports strategy globally
Own the brand’s digital/social gaming activations from briefing to strategy & execution
Partner cross functionally with Global Marketing, Regional Marketing & Sports Marketing
Evaluate and prioritize long and short-term opportunities to test, learn and scale
Manage gaming-focused partners, agencies, scopes and budgets
Serve as a specialist with a deep understanding of gaming and esports marketing
5-7 years of marketing experience in gaming/esports at a relevant game, platform, brand or agency
Broad understanding of digital and social marketing from an organic and paid standpoint
Proven ability to lead and collaborate on projects from briefing to strategy to execution
Communication skills that create shared vision and alignment cross-functionally
Solution oriented, self-starter, super organized
