The role of Associate Director, Sponsorship, Event and Grassroot Activations is responsible for helping the Field Marketing organization in driving marketing plans that address regional business objectives/challenges, identifying opportunities with partners, executing regional offers and implementing brand programming by working closely with VP of Sponsorship, Director of Field Marketing, Associate Directors of Sports Partners, local Field Marketing Managers, and internal cross functional teams.
What You Will Be Doing:
Strategically ideate and direct events in local markets that ladder back to national strategy around tentpole events in sports calendar, aligning all available assets internally and with all partners
Have a deep understanding of all the tentpole moments in sports for Caesars to activate around
Be the brand advocate by helping increase brand awareness and acquisition across all markets and ensuring brand integrity across all corporate activations
Agency management: locally and nationally and ensuring that industry trends are top of mind.
Understand the competitive analysis and landscape across each market and nationally and create a cadence of wrap ups to be shared across departments
Development and driving a consistent event and agency playbook throughout the organization
Plan and execute event logistics and provide onsite quality event management including host and attendee management, budget management, venue contract negotiation, and adherence to internal guidelines
Coordinate across cross functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding events on brand
Liaise with local and national team to create annual event roadmap and plan budget
Identify opportunities to scale acquisition at the local market level by being in touch with the pulse of the competition, local insights and FTD targets for all markets under management
Creating pre and post event briefs, including key metrics and results in a timely manner
Develop and execute white glove differentiated client experiences for various audience segmentations
Ensure strategy for event execution across all business units such as brick and mortar sportsbook, iCasino, VIP, Sports Partners, and acquisition events.
Managing and tracking the events budget, including vendor approval, working with finance to process invoices and tracking expenses
Maintain inventory of all promotional materials, customer giveaways, and agency uniforms
Manage street teams education and calendar; internal street teams and external agency street teams
Passion for building brands people love
Knowledge of sports betting and passionate about sports
6-8 years of marketing experience, preferably on a fast-paced marketing team, in the field, events/experiential marketing or in a brand strategy role
Curious, creative, strategic, and analytical — An excellent communicator with outstanding listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience working closely and developing integrated plans with sales/digital/marketing counterparts
Project management experience required
Strategic marketing plan development and execution with demonstrable results and return on investment (going beyond creative ideas to revenue-driving programming)
Experience operating in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution required
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
Superior Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills, required
