The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all consumer-facing events (live and virtual) are managed via input from multiple departments within the Sponsorship, Integration, and Auto Show area.
Reporting to the Sponsorship Manager, the person in this role will support the Corporate Marketing department's objective to assist with sales plan achievements, product launches, team member development as well as brand, multicultural, and youth with a focus on our Vail Resorts partnership.
Manage day-to-day operations/discussions with strategic partners and programs as part of Toyota's full sponsorship portfolio including but not limited to Vail Resorts, music, culinary, outdoor, retail partnerships, sales contingency programs, ride-and-drives, as well as other executive-initiated programs.
Manage all aspects of creativity, planning, and execution across a full portfolio of events (live and virtual).
Manage the day-to-day relationship with all agencies of record - Saatchi & Saatchi, Burrell, Intertrend, and Conill and implement programs in collaboration with the Sponsorship Department.
Understand the latest trends in consumer engagement and activation and observe best practices in sponsorship activities.
What you’ll be doing
Devise events that stay within a budget determined by the Sponsorship Manager.
Determine best practices from class-leading engagements in and out of the automotive category.
Decisions and accountabilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
B.S. or B.A.
Strong relationship management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
2+ years of experience with Sponsorship.
2+ years of experience in resort marketing.
Graphic design experience with the ability to build decks and prepare PowerPoint slides.
Advanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
MBA or applicable graduate degree.
Experience in event management.
