The Sponsorship Marketing team is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual, with a strong knowledge of the sponsorship and sports marketing space, to support our premier sports partnerships, primarily focused on golf. The Sr. Associate will report to the Manager of Premier Partnerships and work cross functionally within the Sponsorship Marketing Team managing and executing various projects and initiatives. This position will also work closely with our external partners and vendors.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the management and execution of all Premier Partnerships for firm including PGA TOUR, THE PLAYERS Championship, Brand Ambassadors and HBCU partner schools.
  • Ideate activation of assets to drive overall metrics, including ROMI, engagement and NPS.
  • Support/lead the development, implementation and on-going administration for events and hospitality, in a project manager capacity.
  • Collaborate with firm’s local markets to activate against premier properties.
  • Manage a wide variety of internal stakeholders to ensure necessary buy-in, collaboration, and approvals.
  • Assist Sponsorship Marketing Team with the preparation of event materials throughout the planning and execution of events.
  • Ideate, research and manage inventory for all event merchandise and premiums.
  • Support on-site event execution as needed.
  • Manage budgets across selected events.
  • Provide post event survey maintenance, distribution, data entry and reporting.
  • Conduct event de-briefs with team and identify best practices for future events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sports administration, communications or related field.
  • 5 plus years of marketing experience; 3 years event planning experience is a plus.
  • Detail and action-oriented team player with a focus on achieving quality results and an exceptional eye toward detail and quality.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to work with others in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, juggle competing priorities and work through issues independently or with little supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong business and interpersonal instincts, judgment and high integrity.
  • Exceptional client service and skill interfacing with C Suite, partners and other business executives.
  • Ability to independently manage conflict resolution when challenges arise. Proactively make suggestions for resolution to issues.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Power Point.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion in handling/communicating sensitive information and be flexible, resourceful and self-confident.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
