This role will:

  • Plan, organize, and activate high-value U.S. sponsorships while coordinating with and through various partnerships, production companies, and agencies.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships and partner with businesses to maximize the value and visibility of our sponsorships.
  • Provide advice and coaching to senior leadership about our U.S. sponsorship strategy and best-in-class activation.
  • Create impactful, visual, storytelling content that highlights our U.S. sponsorships across multiple channels including internal and external websites, interactive digital tools, and social media feeds.


    Required Skills

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Candidate must have a minimum 7 (seven) years of working experience with a strong brand, marketing and/or communications background, preference for knowledge of sponsorships, event planning and content development for a range of communications channels
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field is required
  • Ability to translate a creative concept into an actionable plan with a proven track record of great results with your work, includes setting and tracking measurable objectives, identifying activities, setting tasks, managing budgets, and determining desired outcomes
  • Extensive project management experience, including planning, delivery, and budget tracking.
  • An understanding of Shell strategy and our external audiences that we want to reach and engage
  • Network builder with experience developing relationships and collaborations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to function well with a team in a fast paced (sometimes chaotic) environment under tight deadlines; ability to adapt when situations change
  • Excellent oral, written communication skills and attention to detail and making things happen absolutely on time is essential
