Clearwater Lights Clearwater Lights(tm) are high powered, fully dimmable LED lights that provide longer life and lower power consumption than other light systems. The innovative, patent pending technology behind Clearwater Lights was born out of frustration with existing incandescent filament bulb technology. Incandescent bulbs, including halogen, rely on a high resistance wire that glows when electricity flows through it. The light output is just a by-product, so over 90% of the power to a halogen light is wasted in heat. There had to be a brighter way.
