The AT&T Championship is a golf tournament on the Champions Tour. It is played annually in October in San Antonio, Texas at the Oak Hills Country Club, and is the final full-field event of the Champions Tour season (the final tournament, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, limits its field to the season's top 30 money-winners). AT&T is the main sponsor of the tournament. The Canyons Course at TPC San Antonio took over as host beginning in 2011.
The purse for the 2011 tournament was US$1,850,000, with $277,500 going to the winner. The tournament was founded in 1985 as the Dominion Seniors. read more
