Food and Wine
Atlanta has introduced a very interesting event to its local culinary culture. This very unique opportunity, intended to highlight local chefs and their culinary skills as well as bring awareness to various foundations and charities around our city, has become a huge success. Welcome Culinary Fight Night®; (CFN®) “Where Cooking and Competition Collide!”

Culinary Fight Night® is an interactive cooking competition with elements of Iron Chef and Chopped included, while incorporating an amazing charitable twist. Culinary Fight Night® consists of local chefs and their sous, cooking head to head, in a “boxing ring” style setting vying for an array of prizes, including a donation to the winner’s charity of choice. We have 2 formats: a) A team of 3 chefs will be required to prepare a 3 course meal for our panel of six celebrity judges and a live audience of 200, seated ringside or b) A team of 2 chefs will be required to prepare 1 course for a panel of 3 judges in 20 minutes, “Sweet 16” elimination style until 1 chef remains standing. Food will be scored in 3 categories: Taste, Presentation, and Creativity. Each category will be worth 25% and the audience (in option a) or the host (in option b) will represent the remaining 25%.

Culinary Fight Night®(VioDoug Solutions) has had the pleasure of working with such charities as The Children’s Place based in Chicago, the Do the 2 Walk for Breast Cancer, the Make a Wish Foundation, Genesis Family Shelter of Atlanta, the Sickle Cell Foundation of Ga., The Ludacris Foundation, and the Alzheimer Association.

Past judges have included Top Chef Season 6 contestant Hector Santiago; Grammy Award winning recording artist, Chilli; Glenn Mack, President of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts (Atlanta); Ginny McCormack, personal chef and author; Emily Cook, Miss Georgia 2009, and David Ralston, speaker of the house.
