FANTASMAGORIE is a free, on-the-water arts and conservation campaign set on Chicago’s Lake Michigan at the intersection of Solidarity and Museum Campus Drive. For three months in the summer of 2015, FANTASMAGORIE educates, excites, and inspires over 2 million Chicagoland residents and tourists to journey beyond the Great Lakes, through the rivers of the Amazon, and into the Coral Reefs, as 24 spectacular performances combine live music, choreography, and floating projections of aquatic life.
FANTASMAGORIE is a direct partnership with The Field Museum of Natural History and the John G. SHEDD Aquarium, in addition to supporting our beneficiary, The World Wildlife Fund.
Produced by Curmudgeon Group, a Chicago based creative firm specializing in the ideation and production of interactive, disruptive, art-based creative campaigns, driving public innovation, social impact, and brand activation through the arts.
