The winner of each World RX race will be awarded an X1 Rebellion watch. A limited-edition official World RX watch range will be launched later this year.
iON Worldwide signs deal with FIA World Rallycross Championship The deal will see iON Cameras become the Official Action Camera of World RX, in addition to becoming the Official Partner of the Championship’s new Spotters’ Tower: World RX’s first interactive pit wall to be featured in the Championship’s international broadcast. Utilising highly advanced technology, iON Cameras will be able to capture thrilling in-car race footage and behind the scenes action, bringing fans closer to the extreme nature of the sport than ever before.
Monster Energy signs deal with FIA World Rallycross Championship The 2013 FIA Rallycross Championship was launched today, new championship promoter IMG revealing both a ten-event championship calendar and announcing that Monster Energy will be the presenting sponsor of the championship. Staged at Santa Pod, where Monster Energy were promoting the last part of the Gymkhana Grid tour with Ken Block, the launch heard confirmation that the championship will be restructured in 2013, the focus being on the Supercar class which will have a new race format. Super1600 and TouringCar remain a key part of the package and each will have its own FIA Championship title with races run on both days of the events and the finals included in the TV coverage of the championship.
