FRAM Filtration signs deal with Johny Hendricks LAKE FOREST, Ill., Jan. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FRAM, a leading U.S. oil filter brand, today announced that it has extended its partnership with the UFC® and signed two UFC athletes to sponsorship deals: former welterweight champion Johny "Bigg Rigg" Hendricks and lightweight contender Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone. The Team FRAM Athletes will appear in future advertising and promotional campaigns for FRAM. In addition to signing Hendricks and Cerrone, FRAM will also support the UFC in 2015 through octagon signage in major fights and prominent advertising schedules on televised UFC fights and MMA websites.
Zak Products signs deal with Johny Hendricks When welterweight champion Johny Hendricks steps into the Octagon on Saturday for UFC 181, he will be showing off a new brand alongside his more traditional endorsements with Reebok, Bass Pro Shops Bass Pro Shops and Dell Dell-owned Alienware. The latest sponsor for Hendricks is Zak Products, which sells automotive performance products used by technicians and automotive service professionals. The relationship is only set to last for UFC 181 when Hendricks fights Robbie Lawler in a rematch of an earlier battle in 2014, but Hendricks’ agent says that there are plans to expand the partnership for future fights as well.
Bass Pro Shops signs deal with Johny Hendricks A good deal for Hendricks as the sponsorship links his outside the Octagon interest with inside the Octagon business. Not only does Hendricks have a sponsor, there could be opportunities to make appearances and advocate for the retailer through use of products, etc. Hendricks and Jim Miller are the only UFC fighters with sponsorships from Bass Pro Shops.
