Film Independent, a leading nonprofit film organization that has long championed artist-driven films, worked closely with The New York Times to curate four independent films – two short films and two features – conceived and directed by exciting new talents.
Their efforts embody the wide range of voices and creativity that are the hallmark of independent film.
Each of these films has received acclaim at prestigious film festivals. But none has been seen by a large worldwide audience – until now.
We are pleased to showcase these films exclusively from September 3 through October 2, 2013. Watch them here, and here alone, as part of the first-ever New York Times Indie Online Festival.
