As the only search for college football’s best tailgate, Tailgate of the Year (TOTY) integrates digital and experiential platforms for brands to engage with the nation’s most passionate fans.
Coming off of a successful pilot in 2013, TOTY is expanding in season two, taking branded experiences to four campuses with hundreds of thousands of fans, all battling it out to be crowned the 2014 Tailgate of the Year.
Fans enter the competition by posting an Instagram video using a specific hashtag for their campus, and through online voting and a live tailgating battle, we determine each Campus Champion. From there, the tailgates gain votes online to become the Tailgate of the Year!
The grand prize, in addition to any prizes from sponsors, is $5k donated to the charity of the winning tailgate's choice! All Campus Champions also receive $1k to the charity of their choice as well!
