Dimension Data partners with Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka MTN-Qhubeka to be known as Team Dimension Data from 2016 <p>Last Updated: 25/09/15 1:59pm <p>MTN-Qhubeka will be known as Team Dimension Data from next season. <p>The South African team announced during the summer that it would lose communications company MTN as its title sponsor at the end of 2015.<p>Dimension Data had already agreed to become a sub-sponsor but will now become the lead backer next year. <p>The team will continue to support the charity Qhubeka, although its name has been dropped from the new title.<p>Team principal Doug Ryder said: "We are incredibly excited to have Dimension Data become our new title partner.<p>"It enables us to continue to support the development of African cycling and the Qhubeka charity at the highest levels in world cycling.<p>"This is the next step in our journey and we look forward to accelerating our collective ambitions through this partnership."<p>Mark Cavendish has been heavily linked with a move to Team Dimension Data over the winter.

Representing the African continent for the first time ever, the nine-man MTN-Qhubeka team is one of five wild-card teams invited to ride alongside the 17 World Tour cycling teams at this year’s Tour de France which starts on Saturday.
