The Journal of Functional Foods in Health and Disease (FFHD) is an open access, peer-reviewed, academic journal that considers manuscripts within the field of functional foods, bioactive compounds, and chronic diseases such as cardiovascular, obesity, diabetes, cancer, etc. The journal is designed to keep members of the Academic Society for Functional Foods and Bioactive Compounds (ASFFBC), the readers of Functional Food Center newsletter (more than 400,000 readers composed of scientists, medical doctors, dietitians, and nutritionists) as well as the public up-to-date on the latest advancements in functional foods for the prevention and management of chronic diseases.
