Whitehall NY, is the birth place of the US NAVY, The first Naval battle in U.S. history took place in The South Bay of Lake Champlain in the town of Whitehall.
In the late 1800s the State of New York determined in recognition for the town’s history an Armory would be constructed in 1899. Now 114 years later this same building was purchased from the State of New York in 2012 and is now fully restored and retro-fitted for multi dimensional sporting use doing business as THE WHITEHALL ATHLETIC CLUB
Club Memberships with Privileges including; GOLF, BOATING, FISHING, INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SHOOTING, FITNESS CENTER AND STEAM ROOMS, BASKETBALL AND ARCHERY.
THE WHITEHALL FIELD CLUB OPENED A MOST UNIQUE GOLF COURSE in 2012. Our 67 acre site has long frontage on the Mettawee River running into the Champlain Canal.
Our two clubs share facilities and offer reciprocal privileges.
IN ADDITION, We have some serious entertainment, members are afforded special reserve seating for all events.
Live Sporting Events, BOXING, MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, WRESTLING have all taken place in just the first year of operations. Multiple Live Sporting events are scheduled throughout the year.
Catered Events from 40 persons to 400 persons
Music Concerts, Live Bands performing benefit and tribute shows

THE WHITEHALL ATHLETIC CLUB is surely the most unique facility anywhere. Both Individual and Company Memberships are available. THE WHITEHALL FIELD CLUB is a links style golf course most challenging and is extremely well maintained. Excellent views abound from the river frontage and western expanse.
We anticipate breaking ground on our golf course club house this spring.
