Apex-Brasil bears the missions of promoting the exports of Brazilian products and services, contributing toward internationalizing Brazilian companies and attracting foreign direct investments into Brazil. Authority in strategy development, Apex-Brasil is a Brazilian government agency reporting to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
Currently, Apex-Brasil supports over 12 thousand companies in 80 productive sectors of the Brazilian economy, exporting to more than 200 markets. Trade promotion actions, such as business rounds, support to the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, visits of foreign buyers to Brazil, among others, are developed in partnership with trade associations.
To guide the companies’ strategic decisions on internationalization, the Agency produces business and competitive intelligence studies. Moreover, it supports the capacity building of companies with export potential, that serves over 5 thousand corporations all over the country.
Apex-Brasil also coordinates the efforts toward attracting foreign direct investments (FDI) into the country, focusing on identifying business opportunities and promoting strategic events, thus lending support to foreign investors throughout their operations in Brazil.
