Leidos partners with Caps Gaming Monumental Sports & Entertainment has announced Caps Gaming – a new esports-focused sub-brand that aims to help foster the growth of the NHL competitive gaming community and create visibility for hockey’s esports scene. Caps Gaming will host the Caps Gaming Showcase – a 32-team, 6v6 EA Sports NHL competition on Xbox One. The team has also announced it signed top NHL esports pro John “JohnWayne” Casagranda to join the organization as an official streamer.
Leidos partners with Baltimore Ravens Leidos (NYSE:LDOS) and the Baltimore Ravens announce today they will team up to spread awareness about the ongoing opioid epidemic through a new “Tackling Opioid Addiction” campaign. For every tackle made by the Ravens during the regular season, Leidos and the Ravens will donate $50 towards the purchase of drug disposal packets and supporting Baltimore-area nonprofit organizations united in the fight to keep communities safer and healthier. For every interception and fumble forced by the Ravens defense, the organizations will donate an additional $1,000 each.
Leidos signs deal with McLean Youth Soccer The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) today released the first interactive online course developed to educate soccer coaches on how to teach safer heading techniques. The course was unveiled at a congressional briefing in Washington, D.C. hosted by Congressman Tom Rooney (R-Florida), co-chair of the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force.
