Sagamore Spirit signs deal with Preakness Stakes The Straight Rye Whiskey from the Under Armour founder’s Sagamore Spirit company was named the exclusive brand of rye whiskey of Preakness weekend, Sagamore Spirit co-founder Bill McDermond said Tuesday. Other whiskeys will be sold, but those looking for the rye version will have to try the new Maryland product.
