The Squamish Valley Music Festival (pronounced (/?skw??m??/), previously LIVE at Squamish, is an annual music festival co-produced by Vancouver-based brand.LIVE Management group and Live Nation Canada, and held in Squamish, British Columbia Canada over the second weekend in August . Attendance has increased rapidly over the 4-year period of operations, and is now reaching maximum capacity of attendees for the location per day (19,000[3]). Local businesses have benefited from the annual influx of attendees[2] and the district has recently signed a 10-year contract extension, and has just confirmed a daily capacity increase to 35,000 for 2014, making it the largest contemporary music festival in the Pacific Northwest. read more
