As Canada's Longest Running Marathon marathon event in Canada, it has a certified running distance of 26 miles and 385 yards long. Last year's marathon was sold out and approximately 9,000 people are expected to participate this year. This marathon is certified by Athletics Canada and is a registered AIMS Marathon, and therefore can be used as a qualifying marathon race.
