52nd Annual Grammy's Return Full Slate of Sponsors

The Recording Academy is returning a full line-up of official sponsors for this year's 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, to be held January 31st at Staples Center in L.A.. Delta Air Lines, Harman International, Hilton Hotels, MasterCard, PEOPLE and Westwood One Radio will all be back this year as sponsors of The Recording Academy and its Grammy Week events. Hard Rock Cafe will return as host of the official Telecast Viewing Parties.

"Strategically aligning with the right brands is even more important than ever in today's challenging landscape," said Evan Greene, Chief Marketing Officer of The Recording Academy. "Thanks to The Recording Academy's top notch partnerships with some of the world's industry-leading brands, the Grammy message ultimately reaches more consumers which helps drive excitement and tune-in for Music's Biggest Night."

Delta Air Lines returns for the third year as the "official airline" sponsor. Delta flights during January and February will feature in-flight Grammy programming consisting of two dedicated Grammy radio channels featuring the Best New Artists from the past decade and a jazz channel featuring an interview with legendary jazz guitarist and this year's GRAMMY Salute To Jazz honoree Kenny Burrell. Delta also is launching a Grammy-inspired station at www.pandora.com/delta, where participants can choose their personal station programmed with Grammy favorites and be entered to win a chance to attend this year's Grammy Awards courtesy of Delta.

Harman International, parent company of audio brands including AKG, Harman Kardon, Infinity, JBL and Mark Levinson, returns for the second year as an "official sound partner" and a title sponsor of the Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-Grammy Gala. Harman also has teamed with the National Geographic Channel and PBS television to produce the Music Voyager broadcast special "Road To A GRAMMY" highlighting the journey of five of this year's nominees.

Longtime Academy and Grammy sponsor Hilton Hotels will offer its employees and customers the opportunity to attend this year's Grammy Awards. Hilton is hosting a Rock Star giveaway for its employees around the world — giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their passion for music by uploading a video or photo of themselves or a story explaining why they deserve to attend the Grammy Awards. Hilton HHonors members around the world will have the chance to not only attend the Grammy Awards and other festivities events, but they can also donate funds, in exchange for the highest bidder's points, to benefit the Grammy Foundation. Hilton will also be giving away additional prizes through its Hilton social media pages on Facebook and Twitter.

MasterCard returns for the second year as the "official financial services and payment sponsor" of the Grammy Awards.

MasterCard will support key Grammy Week events, including the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring Neil Young, a title sponsorship of the exclusive Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-Grammy Gala, the official Grammy Celebration after-party, and Grammy Awards Telecast Viewing parties in San Francisco and New York. Artists from Jazz at Lincoln Center will headline the GRAMMY Jazz Room presented by MasterCard. MasterCard also will offer cardholders from around the globe a chance to attend this year's show, bringing in contest winners from India, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, and more.

PEOPLE will be the "official print media partner" of The Recording Academy and the Grammy Awards for the sixth consecutive year. In addition to their presence at the Awards and official afterparty, the partnership is said to extend to charitable extensions including the GRAMMY Foundation, MusiCares, and other initiatives throughout the year.

Westwood One Radio Network will again produce its "Backstage at the GRAMMYs" radio remotes, bringing in radio stations from across the country, as well as radio stations from various countries around the globe to broadcast live from Grammy rehearsals. Westwood One will help to promote this year's telecast and various other events throughout their network programming.

Hard Rock Cafe for the fourth year will be the official venue for the Grammy Awards Telecast Viewing Parties across the United States. Members of The Academy will attend events in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Hollywood, Fla., Houston, Memphis, Nashville, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. In addition, Hard Rock consumers have the opportunity to attend this year's show through an online sweepstakes or they can host their own viewing parties with their friends at participating Hard Rock Cafes across the United States. Finally, Hard Rock Cafe has created a collectible 52nd Grammy pin that is available online at www.hardrock.com with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Grammy Museum and its music programs.
