I’m still a rookie. I’ve been at this almost 1 year.
How did you get started in it?
I came in through the window. I’m actually a former “Radio Rat” from New Jersey. Disillusioned w/the state of affairs around the dial, I “retired” to the Left Coast. I got involved w/sponsorships for TV and Web Series. A chance meeting with a like-minded individual landed me in sports.
How many deals have you done?
In my former life? Too many to remember. As a Sponsor-seeker I’ve gotten about a half-dozen deals done for various clients.
What is your most effective sales tactic?
How did you first hear about SponsorPitch?
Linkedin. I read the results of the Sponsorship Research Survey that SponsorPitch published.
Why did you join SponsorPitch?
If I speak w/potential sponsor who’s not right for Motorsports, it’s good to know I have a network of professionals who might be able to help them. And I’ve never been afraid to share information with others w/in my industry. It’s karmic…it’ll come back.
If you could say anything about the industry, what would it be?
We’re all playing the same game here. We just happen to play for different teams.
