AT&T & Arkansas Reveal Deal Price Afterall

AT&T and the The University of Arkansas have decided to release the numbers around their naming rights deal afterall. ArkansasBusiness.com reports that the renaming deal, which will retain the "War Memorial" part of the stadium's name, is worth $1.8 million over the 10-year length of the deal. Over the first five year period, AT&T will pay slightly less than $175,000 and under an option for the second half of the deal, the annual fee will escalate at a rate of 2.5% per year.

University officials and the telecom initially refused to discuss the details of their naming rights agreement with AT&T citing competitive concerns.
