Bayer Advanced Aspirin Named MLB's 'Official Pain Reliever'

Major League Baseball and Bayer HealthCare today announced that not only is the company's One A Day staying on board as the 'Official Multivitamin of Major League Baseball,' but Bayer Advanced Aspirin is being added to the deal as the 'Official Pain Reliever of Major League Baseball.' Terms of the deal were not released. One A Day has been an MLB official partner since 2008.

While Bayer plans to create a second half MLB-themed promotion for Bayer Advanced Aspirin, One A Day begun activating its partnership at the beginning of the season with the "Change Your Game" platform using current and former player spokespersons to promote good health.

"Bayer HealthCare has been a tremendous partner for more than three years, and we're proud to see that relationship not only continue with One A Day, but expand to include new Bayer Advanced Aspirin," said Tim Brosnan, Executive Vice President, Business, Major League Baseball. "Major League Baseball is committed to supporting consumer health and these brands help us communicate positive messages about this topic to our fans."

"With the introduction of Bayer Advanced Aspirin, we are excited to build on the successful One A Day partnership with Major League Baseball," said Barton Warner, VP, Marketing and New Business, Bayer HealthCare. "As the 'Official Pain Reliever of Major League Baseball,' we look forward to rolling out many activities throughout the season and are dedicated to providing fast pain relief to both MLB players and their fans."
