Blackberry Loves Black Eyed Peas, Too

Coming on the heels of Blackberry's blockbuster U2 sponsorship in 2009, Blackberry has partnered up with The Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D. World Tour starting February 16 and taking the group to more than 40 cities throughout the world.

Details of the activation are still unclear, but organizers are planning to stream the group's March 30th performance at Staples Center to nearly 500 movie theatres across the nation. Presumably Blackberry will play a leading role in streaming the live performance, which will include a 30-minute exclusive program for movie theater audiences, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and band interviews. According to Starpulse.com, tickets will go on sale for the theatre event at a price of $15.

Group member Will.i.am has in the past participated in promotions for RIM/Blackberry. Check out the Blackberry billboard in the background and role the Curve plays in his 2008 video, "One More Chance."

Meanwhile, The Black Eyed Peas are already taking center stage on Blackberry's homepage.
