Brand Tracker App Pits Olympic Partners In Virtual Race
Getting dizzy from all the reports of which brands are making the most of their sponsorship rights? A new interactive infographic from social video platform, Unruly Media, puts a fun twist on measurement by pitting official sponsors against each other in a race for Olympic glory. Behind the cutesy interface there is some science. Brand Tracker keeps tabs on the total number of shares across Facebook, Twitter and the blogosphere for each brand and the eight brands with the most shares then race for social gold.
In early returns, P&G is currently atop the podium followed by Adidas and Samsung. The race will update twice a day throughout the Games with up to the minute share statistics, Unruly says.
The Brand Tracker infographic is the first piece of research from Unruly’s Social Video Lab, which was launched last month.
