Chase Sapphire Signs Up For Sundance

The 2011 Sundance Film Festival has a new presenting sponsor -- Chase Sapphire. Chase Sapphire joins Entertainment Weekly, HP, Acura and Sundance Channel as Presenting Level Sponsors of the Festival, which runs from January 20-30 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Deal terms were not released.


"For the nonprofit Sundance Institute corporate support is essential, and reflects a commitment to sustaining the vitality of independent film, filmmakers and audiences," said Jennifer Arceneaux, Director of External Relations, Sundance Institute. "With the addition of Chase Sapphire, we are especially fortunate to have such deep commitments from five Presenting Level Sponsors."

Chase Sapphire is a rewards credit card designed to offer premium travel rewards and benefits, a range of redemption choices, exceptional customer service and memorable experiences. Chase Sapphire will activate with unique screenings and travel packages for which cardholders can redeem points and an exclusive access line at the main Festival box office in Park City. In addition, tickets will be made available to Chase Sapphire cardholders in cities participating in Sundance Film Festival USA screenings on Thursday, January 27, 2011.

Acura, a new Presenting Sponsor, is the Official Vehicle of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. The 2011 Sundance Film Festival sponsors to date include:

  • Leadership Sponsors: Bing, DIRECTV, Honda (in addition to being a Leadership sponsor, will continue its year-round support of Sundance Institute artists), Southwest Airlines and YouTube;
