Congresswoman Looks To Put Brakes On Military's NASCAR Sponsorships

A Minnesota Congresswoman is looking to put an end to the military's sponsorship spend in Nascar. Rep. Betty McCollum has introduced an amendment that, if passed, would ban the military from spending money to sponsor NASCAR race cars through Sept. 30, the end of this fiscal year. Ms. McCollum’s office estimates the Pentagon has spent more than $100 million on its own NASCAR teams.
