Energizer Empowers Travelers With Latest Partnership
Energizer is teaming up with leading online travel company, Orbitz.com, to launch an integrated media campaign designed to reinforce brand alignment between Energizer's suite of Portable Power products and the act of booking travel. The creative brand partnership is an extension of recent research by the companies that indicates online travelers own an average of 2.7 web-enabled devices, with nearly four out of five using a mobile phone to view maps or get directions on trips and 69 percent logging on to a preferred social network at least daily.
The marketing partnership running through the end of the year at Orbitz.com/Energizer, spans a variety of platforms, including "Orbitz Originals: The Cayman Islands," a series of ten short films hosted by travel expert Richard Bangs available on Orbitz.com. Alongside a library of adventure travel content; Energizer will receive fixed and dynamic media placements targeted to business, luxury, family and leisure travel audiences; as well as an Energizer-sponsored travel promotion offering up to 40 percent off Cayman Islands hotels booked through Orbitz.

Portable Power chargers are featured throughout all ten episodes of "Orbitz Originals: The Cayman Islands," an Orbitz.com exclusive series hosted by travel expert Richard Bangs and produced in cooperation with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. Each episode weaves compelling imagery of island destinations with subtle examples of ways in which Energizer products enhance the travel experience – by keeping travelers connected to friends, family, even the office – at all times.
In addition to sponsored content throughout the site, Energizer will also receive homepage takeovers, targeted email messages to Orbitz Insiders and strategic use of all Orbitz social media channels.
