ESPN's New Instant Replay Tweets To Be Sponsored By Ford
As the bowl season heats up and with more and more fans plugged into Twitter, Ford, a longtime advertiser of numerous ESPN platforms, as come up with a unique way to promote its new Ford Fusion. The New York Times reports that Twitter and ESPN have teamed up to provide embedded video replays from football games within @ESPNCFB tweets. The program will be promoted by ESPN, as well as its sponsor, Ford.
“When it comes to college football it’s a tremendous opportunity to watch across all our screens,” said Lisa Valentino, the vice president of digital and mobile advertising sales at ESPN. “That appetite is tremendous.”
Each replay clip will start with a short pre-roll video promoting for the Ford Fusion.
