Fashion Week Gets Official Trend Forecaster

Trend-analysis and research service, WGSN has found a unique way to market its company to fashion's decision makers. It's been named the Official Trend Sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2012. As part of the deal, WGSN will set-up a TrendZone within Fashion Week where attendees can go to hear about the latest fashion trends from WGSN analysts.

"Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York is the highlight of the seasonal show calendar and a must-attend event," WGSN CEO, Julie Harris, said. "We are delighted to be embarking on this exclusive relationship giving WGSN's 38,000 global subscriber base privileged and exclusive access to all the runway shows in New York through WGSN.com as well as live expert analysis on site in the WGSN TrendZone."

The WGSN TrendZone, in the Grand Lobby of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, will be staffed by WGSN's recognized trend analysts, Maren Hartman and Sally Lohan, senior creative specialists, who oversee WGSN's team of forecasters, journalists and designers in New York and Los Angeles respectively. At the TrendZone, attendees can be briefed on the trends as they happen, experience WGSN.com on one of the free work stations, or explore the recently launched Vogue Archive, featuring every page of every issue of American Vogue from 1892 until today.

WGSN's team of over 300 analysts, researchers, designers and editors provide insight and creative inspiration, real-time retail coverage, seasonal trend analysis, consumer research and business information to more than 38,000 subscribers.
