Jamba Juice Adds Endurance Deals To The Mix
Jamba Juice has signed a deal to become the "Official Blended Fruit Beverage and Smoothie" of seven upcoming events in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series. The Emeryville, CA.-based company, whose major sports sponsorships to day include the WNBA and USA Water Polo, will launch its new partnership with Competitor Group's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon serie at the Rockn' Roll San Diego Marathon & 1/2 Marathon this weekend.

Jamba Juice will reward racers at seven Rock 'n' Roll Marathon events with refreshing, delicious, and nutritious blended fruit beverages and smoothies along with product samples as both a pre- and post-race treat. In conjunction with their sponsorship of the seven events, Jamba will also distribute free samples and will host 30-minute fitness clinics with Jamba's nutritionists at select pre-race Health & Fitness Expos, where all race participants go to pick up their race number and learn more about health and fitness. On race days, spectators and participants may catch a glimpse of Jamba's mascot, Bananaman, running to encourage and entertain racers along their journey.
In 2011, Jamba Juice earned revenue of $226.4 million with over 750 locations in operation.
