JetBlue and DIRECTV Partner for In-Flight NFL Games

JetBlue Airways, the Official Airline of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, will add DIRECTV's exclusive NFL Sunday Ticket package to its free, live programming lineup offering customers access to up to 14 games every Sunday throughout the regular NFL season when traveling on JetBlue flights within the U.S.

"From the sofa to the seatback, NFL fans can enjoy DIRECTV's NFL SUNDAY TICKET just about anywhere," said Alex Kaplan, senior director, Sports Marketing for DIRECTV. "It's a great way to satisfy those die-hard NFL fans who have to travel on Sunday and miss their game. Now fans can watch every minute, of every game, every Sunday, whether they're at home, in a sports bar, watching on their cell phone or iPad, or cruising at 35,000 feet."

"JetBlue is New York's fan favorite and largest domestic airline at John F. Kennedy International Airport and we look forward to welcoming even more football fans onboard during the 'Sunday Funday' season," said Don Uselmann, manager of Product Development for JetBlue Airways. "Our customers can stretch out their legs with our bonus legroom, where they'll never have to miss their favorite team with up to 14 free, live games on DIRECTV's NFL SUNDAY TICKET on personal seatback screens, including all of the pre-and post-game action. For those customers who aren't football fans, we'll continue to provide a variety of other live channels for free."

JetBlue has been offering DIRECTV programming as part of its in-flight experience since 2000.
