Konica Minolta Re-Ups with Lax Events

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. has renewed its commitment to college lacrosse, renewing title sponsorship of the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore and the Konica Minolta Big City Classic at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey.

“We continue to value our long-term title sponsorship relationship with Konica Minolta,” said Inside Lacrosse Publisher Bob Carpenter. “The on-going support that Konica Minolta provides to the sport is simply incredible. It’s rare to find a partner outside the lacrosse industry that fully embraces opportunities to grow the sport. We could not bring lacrosse fans the experiences that they crave without the support of Konica Minolta and our other partners. We are truly appreciative of Konica Minolta’s commitment to the cause.”

“Our entire organization looks forward to continuing our commitment to the game of lacrosse, especially with our strategic decision to extend our title sponsorships of the sport’s two high-profile collegiate events," said Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. "Our sports marketing initiatives have constantly proven to be very effective in building brand awareness of Konica Minolta. In partnership with our friends at Inside Lacrosse, we aim to position the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic and Konica Minolta Big City Classic as premier events within the landscape of college sports, and the excitement is already building for the 2011 matchups.”

Both events are owned and managed by lacrosse media company, Inside Lacrosse.
