Live Nation Gets Buzzed With 901 Tequila

901 Silver Tequila, the ultra premium tequila brand launched by Justin Timberlake earlier this year, announced today a multi-year agreement with Live Nation, which makes it the official tequila sponsor of the majority of Live Nation venues throughout the United States.

"We are thrilled to be aligned with an entertainment industry leader such as Live Nation. They exemplify the forward thinking direction that the 901 Silver brand embodies," says 901 Silver's President Kevin Ruder.

The agreement between 901 Silver Tequila and Live Nation marks the first time that the liquor brand has entered into a multi-platform sponsorship deal of this kind and gives the ultra premium tequila access to an wide audience of music and entertainment fans, a key segment of the brand's loyal consumer base. As part of the package, 901 Silver Tequila also will gain access to tickets, in-venue visibility on Live Nation's in venue video network, as well as signage placement as the official tequila sponsor in Live Nation venues throughout the country.

"901 Silver has quickly established itself as a favorite among tequila aficionados and we are proud to provide Live Nation's sponsorship platform to help promote their brand," said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation.

Last month, 901 launched a viral video contest that allows fans of the tequila to submit "a big idea," which could in turn land them the position of Executive Vice President of Big Ideas at 901 Tequila.

Maybe that big idea will help 901 activate their new Live Nation sponsorship.
