With today's coast-to-coast solar eclipse occurring only once every century, it's not just the companies making those funny looking eclipse glasses that have been cashing in on #SolarEclipse2017. Networks and publishers have been quick to capitalize on the eclipse with integrated sponsorships.
Here is a selection of three unique sponsorships you'll be seeing later today if you're taking in the eclipse from the office:
The USA TODAY NETWORK has teamed up with Instagram to provide a live feed featuring real-time video from multiple locations on the eclipse’s path with images and interviews with people at each location.
As part of Volvo’s sponsorship with CNN, live-streams of the eclipse will integrate 2018 Volvo XC60s specially outfitted with advanced 360° cameras.
Perhaps the most clever of eclipse sponsorships, Mitsubishi is launching an entire new line of vehicles, the 2018 Eclipse Cross CUV, with a sponsorship of ABC's multi-platform coverage of the eclipse.
