Midnight Gaming Dials Up AT&T

Midnight Gaming Championship has tapped AT&T as the title sponsor for the 2010 national gaming tour, which will visit 20 cities between May and September. In addition to winning AT&T prizes, MGC will offer gamers opportunities to compete on AT&T mobile devices as well as Xbox and Wii consoles.


"We're excited to work with AT&T to integrate new ideas and promotions into the Midnight Gaming tournament experience," said Blake Pettigrew, partner at MGC.

"AT&T brings a great deal of added value to MGC tournaments and we look forward to working with them."

Through its relationship with MGC, AT&T will offer mobile phone tournaments and the opportunity for contestants to win cash and AT&T prizes. Local winners will advance to the MGC Championship event to take place in Las Vegas, with a chance to win $10,000.

"Midnight Gaming is a great opportunity for us, along with our mobile game content providers, to showcase the popular mobile games that are available for today's gamers," said Glenn Broderick, executive director of gaming, AT&T.

"We're looking forward to working closely with MGC to bring more mobile gaming action and excitement to the tournaments."

Midnight Gaming Championship's presenting partners include McDonald's (McCafe), iPlay Mobile Gaming, Southwest Airlines, Gamer Grub and Coke-Zero. The events are produced and owned by Major Gaming Championships, LLC and Affinity Sports Marketing of Dallas -- Ft Worth, TX. Ronald McDonald House Charities is the official charity of the Midnight Gaming Championship.
