NFL Adds Official Restaurant Sponsor

As part of a new multi-year agreement, McDonald’s will serve as the Official Restaurant Sponsor of the NFL and presenting sponsor of the 2013 Pro Bowl. The deal, which kicks off in December, gives the golden arches the right to feature the NFL Shield and collectively use of all 32 Team logos in its marketing and advertising.

“McDonald’s has worked with local NFL teams for decades, and today we are proud to be the official restaurant sponsor,” said Neil Golden, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s USA. “McDonald’s customers and NFL fans share a passion for fun, exciting experiences. This sponsorship and promotion brings our customers one step closer to NFL action.”

McDonald's will start promoting the relationship in December with a Chicken McNuggets promotion that gives fans the chance to win tickets to this year's Pro Bowl.

“We are pleased to welcome McDonald’s to our family of NFL sponsors,” said Brian Rolapp, COO of NFL Media. “We are excited to be working with McDonald’s to bring our fans closer to the game with unique experiences during the Pro Bowl and all season long.”
