Partners Pony Up For Beach Polo

Bombay Sapphire found a unique way to reach South Beach's tastemakers. When the sport of kings hit the beach, mixologists made sure the gin was top of mind, before, after and during the event. With an average attendee net worth of close to $1 million, it's no surprise that Bombay Sapphire was in good corporate sponsor company. The sponsor list is a virtual who's who of luxe brands.

"For the past six years, we have witnessed the tremendous growth of polo in South Florida. It truly comes as no surprise as it embodies some of the same characteristics that define Miami: passion, exceptional entertainment, sportsmanship, heritage and affluence. We have taken this time to perfect and to build equity into our brand, thus attracting key corporate partners such as our title sponsor, [Mercedes-AMG] AMG and our presenting sponsor Nespresso," said Bruce Orosz, President, The Polo Life LLC.

The company plans to take the event to other US cities, beginning with Chicago and New York in 2011.
