Soccer Teams Strip Down To Find Shirt Sponsors

Here's something new. Apparently, Football League club, Yeovil Town, has taken its 2012-13 team photo shirtless in an effort to drum up interest for its shirt sponsorship. The team recently started their pre-season friendlies without a shirt sponsor after their previous sponsor, Jones Building Contractors, decided not to renew the team's shirt deal.

BBC has the full story here.

Meanwhile, the Mirror is running a slightly more disturbing story about an amateur team taking to the field in their boxers with this NSFW viral video, meant to attract the attention of a kit sponsor. Good luck with that, guys!

All fun aside, the video was accompanied by a fairly thorough pitch on the team's website so maybe the attention of some major papers like the Mirror will help find Playford FC the right partner.
