Starbucks Expands To Theme Parks With Latest Partnership

Starbucks is set to bring cappuccinos to Walt Disney Theme Parks. The companies today announced that Starbucks will open six cafés as part of the company's latest push into non-traditional venues. In recent months, the coffee maker has extended distribution points beyond typical retail channels, having this winter launched partnerships in the air and on the ski slopes.

It seems the latest idea came through the company's website, MyStarbuckscafe.com.

“Starbucks and Disney have many things in common,” said Arthur Rubinfeld, president, Global Development, for Starbucks. “We share a passion for providing excellent customer service, delivering high quality in everything we do, and ensuring that every experience with our brand exceeds our customers’ expectations. This is something our customers and partners (employees) have asked for through MyStarbucksIdea.com since the site launched more than four years ago, so we are pleased to bring this idea to life.”

The move marks the expansion of a partnership between the two companies that started in 2009 with the launch of a Starbucks café at Disney Village at Disneyland Paris.
