Synergy was named Sponsorship Consultancy of the Year by the 18th annual Hollis Awards, held last night in London to honor the best of the best in the UK market. Aside from the agency's achievement, Synergy Chairman and Founder Karen Earl was also honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award for her contribution to the sponsorship industry.
O2’s partnership with Academy Music Group was named Sponsorship Of The Year, the third award on the night for the mobile telecom. Meanwhile, haircare brand, TreSemme, took home three awards including Best Use of Research, First Time and TV Sponsorship categories for its sponsorship of the Next Top Model franchise.
"The range and quality of this year’s entries show that sponsorship has become an indispensible part of the brand marketer’s tool-kit," Hollis Awards organizer Rosemary Sarginson. "I’m thrilled to see such a positive response – particular for our new digital categories which were won by Ericsson and Nivea.
