UEFA Lines Up Third National Sponsor For EURO 2012

Ukrsotsbank PJSC was announced as the third national sponsor for UEFA EURO 2012 in Ukraine today in the capital city of Kyiv. UEFA didn't have to go far for the deal. Ukrsotsbank's parent, Unicredit Group is a major sponsor of the UEFA Champions League through 2015 and UEFA Super Cup through 2014.


The bank will join telecom company, Ukrtelecom, and home improvement retailer, Epicenter K, as national sponsors of EURO 2012 in Ukraine.

Ukrsotsbank will be in charge of all financial transactions and account handling related to UEFA EURO 2012 in Ukraine. In addition to having a significant brand presence in the tournament's official venues, the bank will have the opportunity to run ticket promotions for its customers in the host territories..

CEO David Taylor said. "UEFA EURO 2012 involves a number of financial transactions, from the payment of suppliers to the handling of ticketing and corporate hospitality sales' accounts and it is therefore extremely important to be able to count on the expertise of Ukrsotsbank in this respect."
