Univ. of Arizona open to adding stadium sponsor

The Arizona Wildcats are 4-0, boast a No. 14 national ranking and are receiving early-season national attention.


Somewhere, Greg Byrne suspects, there's a company or donor who wants to be associated with that success.

The UA athletic director said last week that he will consider selling the naming rights to Arizona Stadium or the Wildcats' field if it helps defray the cost of renovating the graying facility built in 1928. Crews are expected to break ground on an $85 million north end zone project next year, but the UA has more it would like to improve.
