[VIDEO] Watch BMW's Brilliant Mini MINI Haul Javelins & Hammers Around Olympic Stadium

OMEGA and BMW may not have the biggest marketing budgets as compared to Olympic sponsor heavyweights like Visa, P&G and Coca-Cola, but when it comes to getting noticed at the Olympics they may not have to. Both brands by the nature of their products are being afforded a rare and valuable invitation to participate on the field of play -- a sponsorship rarity in any sport, most especially the Olympics.

OMEGA has taken a highly visible role keeping time within Olympic venues while BMW's MINI is chipping in with a unique way to help haul track and field equipment around Olympic Stadium. Meet the mini MINI, the remote controlled cars that are carrying javelins, shotput, discuses and hammers between events. The mini MINI is a battery powered and radio controlled MINI that is a quarter scale of the full-sized car and carries up to 8kg.

While the cars don't carry BMW or MINI logos, the unique shape of the remote controlled vehicles make them instantly recognizable to millions.
