Virgin Promotes Latest Partnership With In-Flight DJ's

We've seen airlines host fashion shows, acoustic guitar sets and even golf. However, with security so tight these days Virgin America may be breaking into unchartered territory with an in-flight DJ. To activate its sponsorship of FIlter Magazine's third annual Culture Collide Festival, Virgin America is planning to host several prominent DJ's on an October 3rd flight from New York to Los Angeles, where the Culture Collide Festival will begin the next day. The "I'm With The Band" cross-country flight, departing at 11:30 am, will feature Kevin Barnes, School of Seven Bells and Penguin Prison.

"I have no idea what to expect from this eight mile high DJ performance, my imagination is running wild with the possibilities," explained of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes.

You can learn more about the flight on Virgin's blog and tickets for the flight can still be had for $441.
