Vodafone Offers F1 Pass-Through Promotion

Vodafone UK has launched the Vodafone VIP rewards program and to celebrate is offering one small to medium size business the chance to win pass through rights to its F1 sponsorship.

The winning entry, which can be submitted at promotions.vodafone.co.uk/f1 between June 22nd and July 1st, will get its logo on the Vodafone's McLaren Mercedes cars at the 2010 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix.

"We're giving all our customers the chance to get tickets to some of Britain's best events whether you're into fashion, festivals or Formula One," says Guy Laurence, Vodafone UK's CEO. "The chance for a small to medium size business customer to feature on a Vodafone McLaren Mercedes car is unique. It's global television exposure for free."

Vodafone will also use other high profile partnerships such as an alliance with Live Nation and sponsorship of London Fashion Week to drive consumer rewards initiative.

Laurence explained: "We’re giving all our customers the chance to be at some of Britain’s best events in fashion, festivals and Formula One. We wanted a simple rewards scheme for all our customers that was much more than music and much wider than just London-based events."
