Waterford Crystal, Aisle 6!

Each year, an artisan at Waterford Crystal in Ireland spends three months hand-crafting the $30,000 sparkling football that sits atop The Coaches' Trophy. All of that hard work paid off this weekend when The Coaches' Trophy presented by Dr. Pepper, was put on display amongst hunting accessories and everyday low prices, at Tuscaloosa's Wal-Mart location.

The Coaches' Trophy, which as been on a season-long tour, stopping at key games in conjunction with ESPN's College GameDay, landed at America's favorite big box retailer as part of Dr. Pepper's sponsorship of the trophy.

Alabama fans this weekend had the opportunity to visit the location and take pictures with the pricey crystal before it makes it moves on to its permanent home on the campus of the University of Alabama.

The activation has provided plenty of fodder for SEC rivals, but it might be the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Skyland Boulevard that's laughing last. Nearly six thousand fans waited in a line that ran all the way back to the home and garden department, Birmingham's CBS affiliate reported.
